How To

Repairing A Drone's Damaged Motor

To repair a motor damaged, the first step is to identify which part is broken. This is easiest to do by removing the propeller from its shaft. Then remove any wires and take a look at the motor's inner workings. If you spot something wrong, you can identify which part of the motor needs to be fixed.

If the motor is in good condition, you shouldn't worry. But if it looks like one of the images below, you will need to replace parts before you can fly again.

Imagine that the motor has become bent to the point it will not turn. The motor must be bent again. To hold the motor in place, you can use a pair or vice grips. After you're done, check your motor for signs of wear.

Once you are satisfied with everything, mount the propeller on the motor shaft. Reattach the wires. You are now ready for your drone to fly.
