How To

How do you clean your drone?

Before cleaning your drone, here are some tips. This guide will help you make sure that you get the most out of your drone.

  1. You need the right tools. Before you start anything, make sure you have everything you need at hand. You'll need a soft brush (or a toothbrush) and cleaning solution (we recommend WD40)
  2. Remove the battery pack. First thing first - remove the battery from the bottom of your drone. It's usually quite easy to find the battery under the propeller, so don't worry if you're unsure where it is. Just take care not to lose any screws during removal.
  3. Remove all pieces. Next, remove everything from the drone's lower side. Check that none of them are loose, as they may fall off when you try to clean the machine.
  4. Use a cleaning product. Now, it's time to clean your drone. We recommend that you use WD40 as a cleaning agent before doing this. Spray the entire drone with the cleaner. Make sure to get between every component. Let it dry completely before you put everything back together.
  5. Put on the battery. The battery should be reattached after cleaning the drone. By doing this, you can test how well your drone functions after cleaning.
