A range of drones, and other aerial vehicles, were demonstrated by Chinese military officials at a recent tradeshow. They include the CH-805 training helicopter, the concept CK-20 stealth-targeting drone and the SW-6 small "marsupial drone. They are both designed to carry out reconnaissance tasks. SW-6 is also thought to be a prime candidate for China's drone "swarm", which involves hundreds linked together drones.

Caihong drones debut

Chinese military officials deployed eight Wing Loong 2 medium-altitude, long-endurance drones to a mixed military/civilian airport in western China recently. This is the first major deployment of Chinese drones. These drones look similar to the U.S. MQ-9 Reaper, and could be used as future military assets. Here's a closer view of the Caihong 5.

China and Islamic states have enjoyed a long-standing friendship and have achieved mutual success. Cooperation between the two countries has led to a new model for peaceful coexistence of cultures from different backgrounds. Chinese Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation will soon open its first Middle East facility to produce state-owned drones, such as the Caihong-4. The factory will make the CH-4/CH-5 drones, as well the equipment. It will also enhance the after-sales services in the Middle East.

Yilong/Wing Loong LE380 Sensor Turret

In October 2007, the Wing Loong I, the first variant of the Wing Loong Family, flew its maiden flight. The device can transport up to four kg of payload. It can also reach speeds of up to 200 km. The device's sensors and payload can be easily seen and targeted with a sensor turret under the nose.

The Wing Loong has a camera and sensor turret. Its wing-shaped shape and three-bladed propeller allows it to fly at speeds in excess of 280km/h. It can also fly up to five kilometers at maximum altitude. The Yilong can finish its mission in 20 hours without needing to recharge. The Yilong is capable of transmitting data at distances up to 200km. It also has impressive take-off distances of 600m and 800m.

These drones are being developed by Chinese companies since many years. Their latest version, Wing Loong 1, was the first in a new series. The Wing Loong 1 has 200 kg payload capacity and a speed of 200 km/h. To monitor their surroundings, the drones use the Yilong/Wing Loong LE380 sensors. The drones can also carry weapons.

The Wing Loong drone has been developed for both military and civilian use. China plans to export the drones to other countries. The Wing Loong II, also known as the Wing Loong II, was presented at Beijing Aviation Exhibition (September 2015). Since then, more than 100 of the Wing Loong drones have been sold. The Wing Loong family of drones is currently being used in several countries, including the UAE (Algeria, Egypt), Nigeria, Pakistan and Uzbekistan.

FAQ

Can my drone be flown around my neighbourhood?

Yes! These are called UAVs, or unmanned aerial vehicles. There are many different types of drones that you can buy today, including small quadcopters as well as large fixed-wing aircraft. The FAA recently published new rules on commercial UAV usage, which allows you to legally fly them for commercial purposes. But, it is important to note that UAVs being flown near airports can interfere with air traffic control systems. Before you operate one, you need permission from local authorities.

How do you travel with a drone?

Drones are becoming more popular, both for personal and business purposes. They can be used for photography, filming and aerial mapping. Recent regulations regarding drones have been approved by FAA. They include new requirements for registration and licensing, pilot training, insurance, and other requirements. These modifications will ensure that drones remain safe and secure for all involved.

Is Drone Use Banned in Your Country?

The FAA has banned drones in areas near airports and stadiums. However, they allow them to fly nightly using GPS technology.

How To

How do I clean my drones?

Before cleaning your drone, here are some tips. This guide will help ensure that your drone gets every bit of its potential.

  1. You need the right tools. You should have everything you need to start any project. You will need a soft toothbrush (or a brush) and a cleaning product (we recommend WD40).
  2. Remove the battery pack. First, get rid of the battery. It's easy to locate the battery underneath the propeller. Ensure that you don't lose any screws when removing the propeller.
  3. Take off all parts. Next, carefully remove all the parts from under the drone. You should make sure that they are not loose as they could fall off during cleaning.
  4. Use a cleaning agent. Now it is time to clean the drone. We recommend using WD40 for cleaning. Spray the entire surface with the cleaner. Make sure you get in between every part. It is best to let it dry completely before attaching everything.
  5. Turn on the battery. After cleaning your drone, you should put the battery back into its original place. You'll be able test the drone's performance after it has been cleaned.
