A quadcopter equipped with a camera may not be necessary. But it might be worth looking into if you want to take aerial photos or first-person views. Although quadcopters can be fragile, the first component to fail is the propeller. Also, the chassis and arms can be damaged if it is collided with. You should carefully consider the features that you desire. Cameras can have a significant impact on quadcopter prices. A camera drone is the best option if you are interested in first-person view.

Low-cost quadcopters

For a more affordable camera drone, consider the DJI Phantom 4 Professional. This remote control drone features an HD camera and a triangular gimbal. The new gimbal dampener makes it possible to record video at 4k resolution and 30 frames per second. The Mavic Air can also shoot slow-motion videos. Both models come with a 12-megapixel CMOS camera and an equivalent 35mm lens f/2.8 lens.

The DJI Spark can take high-quality photographs with its small remote control. Because it is crash-guarded it is safe to fly indoors as well as outdoors. You can also record video directly to your SD card. It's compatible with tablets as well as smartphones, so the DJI Spark is great to learn how fly. Its microphone makes it easy to record audio, even without a special receiver.

How To

How do you clean your drone?

Before cleaning your drone, here are some tips. If you want to make sure you get every last bit out of your drone, then read this guide!

  1. Be sure to have all the tools you need. You should have everything you need to start any project. You'll need a soft brush (or a toothbrush) and cleaning solution (we recommend WD40)
  2. Disconnect the battery pack. First, remove the battery pack from your drone's bottom. It is often easy to find the battery beneath the propeller. Take care to not loose any screws while removing it.
  3. Remove all components. Next, remove everything from the drone's lower side. It is important to make sure none of the parts are broken or loose. They could become damaged when you try and clean it.
  4. Use a cleaning solution. Now it is time to clean the drone. Before doing so, we recommend using a cleaning solution such as WD40. Simply spray the entire surface of your drone with the cleaner, making sure to get in between each component. Leave it to dry completely before putting everything back together.
  5. Turn on the battery. Once you have cleaned the drone, make sure to put it back in its place. You'll be able test the drone's performance after it has been cleaned.
